Ever wonder how the letters "P-U" came to be synonymous with something that stinks? Consider this film, which is "pretty unbearable." Made in the early 1980s, before AIDS made competitive sexual conquests seem less than attractive, the film deals with a trio of losers who rent a house on the southern California beach, then hire a young player to teach them how to get girls. Plucked from today's headlines? Pretty unlikely. And think about all the would-be stars in this film--Grant Cramer, Sorrels Pickard, Michael Rapport--who were never heard from again.  (5 stars) - A wonderful movie with sexy women
This is an excellent movie I have ever seen in my life. This movie shows lots of women in bikinis showing their legs is which I never get enough of this movie anyhow. I know if many people would love to have this movie on video tape or the Hardbodies double feature on DVD, get the movie. Most men love women in bikinis and hardbodies. This movie is every mans biggest fantasy.

An all around classic! It has everything you could want and more out of a movie. You'll laugh, cry and then laugh again. Old dudes score hot girls thanks to a young surfer. Pure Genius.
(5 stars) - "Where Is The DVD Already?"
As I understand it, you really need to know where the right beaches are to see girls that look like the ones in this movie. Sadly, they don't look like this everywhere. This is why we like fantasy, because it takes the edge off of reality. What I would really like is to see this film on dvd. What is the problem? This movie (at the time of this review) is 25 years old.
The film is about 3 middle aged guys looking for some fun, after renting a beach house. The young girls are cold to the fellas at first, so they hire a fast talking scamster to teach as to how they should approach and "dialogue" the "hardbodies". To "dailogue" means to be clever and avoid old pick up lines, and "hardbodies" refers to the finest little "foxes" on the beach. It is a very funny film with some good tunes, but you can't even find the soundtrack.
I don't know who owns the rights to this movie; or if anyone owns them, but somebody really needs to track down this film and have it digitally remastered.

Movie to be taken with a grain of salt. But if movies such as Private Lessons, My Tutor, Porky's, Appeal to you from the Origins of MTV. By all means give it a try or view.

And still another cheesy classic that should be released on DVD. Especially since it is a named favorite of the "Gilmore Girls (WB network soon to be CW). I saw it young and it was brought back to mind when they mentioned it on the show (Luke fell asleep watching it after they made it through "Casablanca"), and I went to work trying to locate it only to find it isn't on DVD yet. What's up?
